The existing gear pump drive shaft can only achieve one oil suction and one oil discharge per revolution, which belongs to the single-acting working mode, and has problems such as small displacement, unbalanced radial force, large flow pulsation, and short life. Based on the principle, a new type of gear pump, a double-acting gear pump, is proposed. The double gear pump has two oil suction chambers and two oil discharge chambers, which can output double displacement, and the radial force is balanced, which provides an innovative way for the renewal and development of gear pumps.

Compared with the single-acting vane pump, the double-acting vane pump has two oil suction ports and two oil discharge ports. The rotor rotates once, sucking and pressing oil twice, so the pressure pulsation is small, and it acts on the stator, rotor and bearing. The radial force balance concave. Inspired by this, combined with the characteristics of synchronous belt and harmonic gear transmission, we have conceived a double-acting gear pump. Its main components include: inner gear ring, roller, pinion, sealing block, side plate, pump body, etc. .

The pinion is a rigid external gear (same as the gear of the existing gear pump, similar to the rigid wheel in the harmonic gear drive), and the inner gear is a thin-walled ring gear that can withstand large elastic deformation (equivalent to
Flexible wheel in harmonic gear transmission), which has the same circumferential pitch and the same tooth width as the pinion, but the number of teeth is different. The inner gear ring and the pinion mesh with each other and are sleeved in a sealed pump body and can rotate freely, and the rotation center lines of the two are consistent.

Two crescent-shaped sealing blocks are installed between the tooth top arc surface of the inner gear ring and the tooth top circle of the pinion; one side plate is arranged on both sides of the inner gear and the pinion in the width direction; two gears In close cooperation with the sealing block and the side plate, the sealing space between the pinion gear and the inner gear ring is divided into four parts, namely two symmetrical low pressure oil suction chambers x two symmetrical high pressure oil discharge chambers, so that the diameter of the transmission shaft is affected. The hydraulic pressure is equal in magnitude and opposite in direction and balanced.

Two axial oil suction holes (corresponding to the low pressure chamber) and two axial oil discharge holes (corresponding to the high pressure chamber) are respectively opened on the two side plates, and the end cover of the gear pump is provided with an oil inlet and an outlet. The oil ports are respectively connected with the oil suction pipe and the oil discharge pipe outside the pump body.

The characteristics of the double-acting gear pump are that the cross-section of the inner gear ring before deformation is circular, and the diameter of its outer wall circle is slightly larger than the distance between the inner sides of the two rollers. When the ring gear is installed between the two rollers, the cross section of the ring gear becomes elliptical due to the constraints of the rollers. The gear teeth near the two ends of the short axis of the ellipse are in complete meshing with those of the pinion, while the gear teeth near the two ends of the long axis are not meshed with the pinion: when the drive shaft drives the pinion to rotate, the ring gear rotates along with it. , the meshing state of the ring gear and the pinion is also constantly changing.
